My childhood years were split between Banke and later Gulariya in Bardiya, where I enjoyed a vibrant mix of
activities and adventures. At the age of 10, I began learning
Shitoryu Karate,
which fueled my competitive spirit— I even secured second place in a district-level competition. My passion
for
leadership
emerged early as I formed groups and consistently ranked first in both my class and school.
Several memorable incidents shaped my formative years. One significant moment was when I nearly drowned
while learning to swim, an experience that taught me the importance of perseverance. I often traveled alone
at night, covering 29 kilometers from Kohalpur to Khajura, gathering friends to watch videos at
Khajura Bazaar.
After moving to Gulariya, I embraced
football
and
learned to swim
in the Bada River, competing in
tournaments
with my older brothers where we frequently placed first or second. I was also eager to join every school
trip, making sure my name was always at the top of the list. These experiences collectively enriched my
childhood, fostering resilience, teamwork, and a love for adventure.
